Diabetes Hands Foundation’s BiG Blue Test
This year for World Diabetes Day, the Diabetes Hands Foundation (DHF), is holding a fantastic event called the BiG Blue Test. On Sunday, November 14th, at 2:00 pm (local time), every individual with diabetes around the world is asked to test their blood sugar, do fourteen minutes of exercise, test again, and then post their results and type of exercise they engaged in online at www.bigbluetest.org. Why you may ask? Well, Manny Hernandez, DHF co-founder, wants to really highlight the importance of regular blood glucose testing and exercise for proper diabetes self-management.
