We’re ringing in another giveaway for our readers to bring in the new year – this time for younger folks and their caregivers! As many patients and parents know, growing up can be difficult enough without diabetes to worry about. That’s why we support ways for kids with type 1 diabetes to learn about diabetes management while staying positive and inspired. In fact, Lilly Diabetes has partnered with Disney in a unique collaboration to create educational content for type 1 diabetes. The partnership has produced a YouTube channel for videos highlighting kids and teens living with type 1 diabetes, as well as a series of books for teens, picture books for younger children, and a carb-friendly Disney cookbook. .png)
The giveaway will have 12 grand prizes: LL Bean backpacks filled with with books and other goodies from the Lilly/Disney collaboration – great for gifts for the holidays!
