This study aims to determine how one's ability to cope with diabetes affects blood glucose control in type 1s between the ages of 8 years and 20 years. The trial is taking place at the Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Researchers are seeking 300 type 1 diabetes patients to learn about how dealing with the hourly responsibilities of blood glucose monitoring, insulin dosing, diet, and exercise affects A1c levels.
