Gretchen Woodson

Gretchen is the voice behind Type One Type Happy and @gretchen.woodson on Instagram. When she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the summer of 2014 while traveling across Europe, Gretchen felt she had no one who could relate, which pushed her to create her own platform in the hopes of connecting and helping others going through the same hardships that she felt when first diagnosed.

Gretchen aspires to empower others to continue to live their life to the fullest. She loves sharing her journey with type 1 diabetes, favorite travel spots, cute fashion, and all of life in-between. In her free time, you can find her traveling on a wild adventure, sipping on a latte, hiking with her dogs, or off on a horseback ride.
